Who this policy covers
This policy covers Hearts Card Game: Manor (Manor) and playhearts.app, operated by Arsen Shkenza. For privacy questions, contact outrunist@gmail.com. The app is in pre-release testing; this policy describes its current features.
Information we use
- Account information. Google sign-in supplies an account identifier, email address and basic profile information. Our authentication provider stores this information and your session. We do not receive your Google password. You choose a public username and a preset avatar; we assign a player code.
- Play and social activity. We store online match participation, game state, results and ranked statistics, along with friend requests, friendships, blocks, invitations, inbox messages, presence and notification preferences. Reports include the selected player, reason and any details you submit.
- Information on your device. The app saves session credentials, offline matches, online reconnection details and preferences locally so you can return to your account and games.
- Support and technical information. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. Hosting and authentication providers process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and connection or error logs to deliver and protect the service.
Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or access tokens in support messages or reports.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, run and restore games, maintain rankings, connect friends, deliver invitations, honor your settings, address reports and answer support requests. We also use necessary technical records to secure the service and investigate failures or misuse.
Where applicable, our grounds for processing are providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in running a safe and reliable game, legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw optional consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
What other players can see
Your username, avatar and player code identify you to other players. Rankings display public profiles and ranked statistics. Friends and people at your table may see relevant presence, invitations and match information. Your Google email address is not part of your public player profile. Private hands and server recovery records are not public leaderboard data.
Service providers
We use Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and database services, Fly.io for online game servers, and Vercel for this public website. Email providers process messages you send to support. These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.
We share information as needed to provide these services, comply with lawful requests, or protect users and the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Ads, purchases and website storage
We are testing Google AdMob in the native app; production ads are currently disabled. When enabled, eligible players may see an ad between completed rounds, before the next hand is dealt, never during a hand. There are no in-app purchases or rewarded currency ads.
The integration requests non-personalized ads. This does not mean that no data is processed. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, diagnostic information, and ad views or interactions for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. We do not send your Hearts profile, email address, player code, room code or cards to the ad SDK. See how Google uses information from partner apps and its privacy policy.
Before requesting ads, the app checks applicable consent requirements using Google’s consent platform. Where required, you can accept, reject or manage your choices. Open Account → Ad privacy or Settings → Ad privacy to revisit available privacy choices. We do not request Apple tracking permission in this integration.
The app does not ask for an age bracket or date of birth for ads. A no-ads choice saved in an earlier test version remains honored for that account on that device. Local attempt counts and hand fingerprints limit ad frequency; they are not sent to the ad SDK. Google’s consent records are stored separately by its SDK and may remain on the installation after sign-out.
This public website does not use an analytics script, advertising cookies or a contact-form database. Email links open your email app; simply opening a link does not send a message. The app’s local storage for sign-in and saved games is separate from this website.
Keeping and deleting information
Account and social records are kept while you use the service. Confirmed in-app account deletion immediately removes your login account, profile, ranked statistics and linked social records. It also removes your account identifiers and names from stored online match recovery records. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your online account.
Other players’ games and numeric results are preserved without your account linkage. Deletion does not retroactively remove information already delivered to another player, or erase another device’s offline storage. Automatic expiry of older match records is separate from account deletion and is not yet enabled during pre-release testing.
Support correspondence, security records and provider backups may remain where needed to resolve requests, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. Contact us about associated records; where information must be retained, we will explain the reason and applicable period. See account deletion options.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, manage in-app notifications, block players, sign out or delete your account in the app. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data-protection authority. Contact outrunist@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to verify account ownership first.
Children and policy updates
Manor is not directed to children below the age at which they can use the service and consent to relevant processing under local law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information should contact us.
We will publish changes on this page with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Please review this policy before using new features.
